We’ve been providing native analytics for all our Typetale Starter and Professional customers, built into the Ghost admin dashboard. It has worked flawlessly and has always been privacy‑first analytics. We never store any identifiable data; we only store abstract data that can’t be correlated to individual users.
With Ghost 6, the Ghost team has developed their own analytics feature baked into Ghost. This month, we migrated all our customers to Ghost 6, and now all new signups will, by default, use Ghost 6. All blogs are now taking advantage of these new analytics, and we’ve decided that we will soon deprecate the OG (old!) analytics.
We are planning to sunset the OG analytics by Feb 20, 2026, after which we’ll remove it from the admin page.
If you have any issues, or if you think OG analytics has some metrics which are not captured by Ghost’s native analytics, do reach out to us and we’ll be happy to assist.
